NRA Certified Pistol Safety Courses

 Your fee for this course includes your classroom instruction, all course materials, your firing-range instruction, two gun rentals (9mm semi-automatic pistol and .38 caliber revolver), ammunition, targets, and eye and ear protection rentals.

 These courses are conducted by VNP Security, a New York security company, whose instructors are certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA).

 These "basics of pistol shooting" courses, including the NRA test, fully conform with the requirements of the NRA.

 After satisfactory completion of the classroom instruction and NRA test, VNP Security Company students spend time at our range of choice participating in a 'hands-on' training session under the direct supervision of one of our certified instructors.⁽¹⁾

 VNP Security Company students satisfactorily completing the 'hands-on' training session will receive an NRA Certificate, which attests to your satisfactory completion of the entire course. A copy of this certificate is required in Westchester and other counties in New York state and by most other states when you make application for a handgun license.

 VNP Security Company assists all of our students in filling out their license application forms.

1. Students are required to pay the nominal range usage fees.
